South West Viewing Session
The BFFS South West Group recently hosted a very successful autumn viewing session at the excellent Shaftesbury Art Centre in Dorset. Screenings included new BFFS titles Burma VJ, Frozen River and Conversations with my Gardener. Over 120 representatives from South West film societies and community cinemas were in attendance to catch the latest releases and meet fellow volunteers. Top of the audience reaction index was Block Booking title Burma VJ, a film documenting Burmese video journalists who risk torture and life in jail to keep up the flow of news from their closed country.
