UK Digital Funding Group Roadshows
Steve Perrin, Chief Executive of UK Digital Funding Group (UKDFG) will be touring the country in a series of roadshows for exhibitors, explaining current thinking and strategy for the organisation and will be available for a Q&A session.
The Cinema Exhibitors’ Association (CEA) established the UKDFG to help secure finance to allow small and medium-sized UK cinema operators to purchase digital cinema equipment.
The UKDFG asserts that there is an absolute desire on the part of most UK cinema operators to embrace digital technology, but many also recognise that they are extremely unlikely to be able to secure funding deals to allow them to convert on their own.
The CEA strongly believes that, for a significant majority of small and medium-sized cinema operators, the UKDFG represents the only option to achieve this and the group has the full support of the UK Film Council.
