BFFS Scotland Community Cinema Festival

- Technical Workshop: Ian Kerr, BFFS Scotland’s Technical and Development Officer along with colleagues from BFFS will offer advice on Projection, Sound and Presentation to both new and existing Groups.Learn about how to get the best out of your own equipment, try out our one of our loan Projectors and Sound systems or bring your technical problems to our experts who will do their best to find solutions for you
- Starting Your Community Cinema: Colinsburgh Community Cinema from the East Neuk of Fife, started operation just about a year ago and already have a thriving organisation presenting a wide selection of Films in their Village Hall. Find out how they did it and even why they did it from the people who made it happen. The highs, the lows, the trials and the triumphs, the joy of ultimate success and how you can do the same for your Community
- Funding Workshop: Information and advice about getting started with funding in order to buy equipment or for special events and learn how to negotiate the minefield of application forms.
- Equipment Demonstrations: Demonstrations of projection equipment provided by AVCOM will take place in the bar area throughout both days of the Festival. In addition, AVCOM will also provide the Projection facilities in screen 2 which will be available for examination between screenings and in greater depth during a special demonstration event on Saturday afternoon.
